I was thinking of running to the nearest best buy before it closes to buy a new more powerful PSU lol but now I'm not sure if it'd make any difference. My RTX 2060 does require a 500W PSU and I have a 600W PSU so it's kind of close. That's why I'm not entirely sure it's the PSU. But when it could connect, that's when it'd suddenly shut down. When the Origin servers were down, I could run the Anthem demo just fine and sit on the main menu screen. I didnt get this error every time but Ive gotten it once today in this game and has happened to me in the past with the division. ![]() Im still not sure how to fix this at the moment but the driver tracks due to sometimes when I play graphically intensive game ill get an error in my windows messages saying that "Application has been blocked from accessing Graphics hardware" in this case today it was AnthemDemo.exe which is being blocked. I think it was either 650 or 750 watts.Įdit: I checked the Windows Event Log and saw several critical Kernel-Power shutdowns (event code: 41). What could be the problem? My PSU should have enough wattage for the RTX 2060 as well. I've watched the temps as I start up the demo and don't jump much higher than when I run Call of Duty maxed out. However, when I start up the Anthem Demo (which has much higher requirements), I hear a high pitched whirring sound come from my PC and then a few seconds later it just suddenly shuts off and turns on again by itself afterwards. I just recently added an RTX 2060 to my PC and I've been able to run relatively modern games like Call of Duty Infinite Warfare at 4K Max settings and the temperatures of my CPU and GPU are all well within normal ranges.
